I have an account with HostGator; can I purchase the NVMe Dedicated hosting plan?
Definitely! The NVMe Dedicated hosting plan is available for both new and existing customers. You can purchase this hosting plan via your HostGator Customer Portal, and our new customers can avail themselves of it through our front-of-site.
I have the existing legacy Dedicated hosting. Is it automatically upgraded to the NVMe Dedicated hosting plan?
No. The existing Dedicated hosting is not automatically upgraded to the NVMe Dedicated hosting plan.
You can purchase the NVMe Dedicated hosting package and then migrate your data from your old server to the new one.
Can I upgrade to the Alma 9 OS or the NVMe Dedicated hosting plan?
You can upgrade your NVMe Dedicated hosting plan within the NVMe Dedicated hosting tier. For instance, if you’re on the Value Dedicated NVMe 32, you have the option to upgrade to the Power Dedicated - NVMe 64 or Enterprise Dedicated - NVMe 128. However, if you’re on the legacy Power, Value, or Enterprise Dedicated hosting plan, the best way to enjoy the benefits of the new specs is to purchase a new NVMe Dedicated hosting package and then migrate your data from your old server to the new one.
Do I have the option to downgrade my NVMe Dedicated hosting plan?
At this time, no. There is no option to downgrade to a lower NVMe Dedicated hosting plan.
My NVMe Dedicated hosting plan is already over 30 days from the date of purchase; can I still request a refund?
No. Dedicated hosting plans are non-refundable.
Can I cancel my NVMe Dedicated hosting plan during the middle of my billing term?
Yes, you can cancel your NVMe Dedicated hosting mid-term. However, please note that no refunds will be provided for Dedicated hosting plans.
What is the NVMe Dedicated hosting server's Operating System (OS)?
You can choose between Linux or Windows Operating Systems when you purchase a new Dedicated hosting plan with us. With Linux, we offer Alma Linux 9.
