Why Does My Webmail Show Internal Server Error User Username Is Over Quota cpsrvd?
There may be a time you will encounter an error similar to the image below when logging in to webmail.
If you encounter this error, please ensure your hosting account is not hitting the storage limits on the email account or your entire cPanel.
To check your cPanel's account usage:
- Log in to cPanel. There are two ways to access your cPanel.
- Option 1: Access your cPanel directly.
- Option 2: Access your cPanel via your Customer Portal.
- Log in to your Customer Portal.
- Click Hosting in the left-side menu.
- If you have a single hosting package in your account, scroll down to the Quick Links section.
If you have multiple hosting packages in your account, locate the hosting package you want to manage on the Hosting Packages page, then click its Manage button. - Under the Quick Links section, click the cPanel button.
- Navigate to the right-hand corner and look for the Statistics section.
- You will see Disk Usage under Alias Domains.
To check the quota of your individual email accounts:
- Log in to cPanel. (See options above on how to log into your cPanel.)
- Click the Email Accounts icon under Email.
- You will see the quota of each email account under the Storage column.
If the email account and the cPanel are both under the limits, please contact Support. In the newest version of cPanel, how email quotas are calculated has changed slightly. This can lead to old cached quotas disabling the account even when it is no longer over quota. It is a simple fix. However, it requires root access, and we gladly provide it. Please contact us via phone or chat.
