Why HostGator Charges $25 for WHMCS Installation
You may be wondering why there is a $25 WHMCS installation fee, especially if you believed the billing manager was free.
HostGator no longer includes a free WHMCS license, and the WHMCS billing software must now be purchased directly from the official site at https://whmcs.com.
While HostGator provides access to the WHMCS software through Softaculous, the installation itself is only billed if you request our team to perform the setup for you. You can choose to install and configure WHMCS manually at no additional cost.
If you prefer HostGator to handle the installation, simply contact support via phone or live chat and authorize the one-time $25 WHMCS setup fee.
