How to Obtain WS_FTP

WS_FTP is a commercial file transfer application for the Windows platform. It is published by a company called IP Switch FT and is made available for sale at ipswitchft.com.

Download & Install WS_FTP (Free Trial Version)

Follow the steps below to download and install WS_FTP:

1. Go to ipswitchft.com
2. On the navigation bar, hover over the Products & Solutions menu option.
3. Select WS_FTP Professional Client. On the next screen, the option to purchase the full version of the software or use the free trial option will be provided.
4. Click the Download Free Trial button.
5. Complete the short form that will be provided with the following information:
   • Email Address
   • Language
   • Country and State(if applicable) where you are located
   • Number of licenses to be checked out
6. Once the form is complete, click the Download Free Trial button at the bottom of the page.
   Note: A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided and should be identical to the one received after ordering.
7. The next screen will provide the serial number necessary for the install process. Copy the serial number.
8. Click on the Download WS_FTP Professional Evaluation link.
9. At the prompt, click Save File.

Once the product is finished downloading, it can be installed like any other Windows-based program by activating with the serial number provided.
