My account is setup for recurring charges. Why am I being contacted to pay?

HostGator will attempt to process a payment using the method you selected; however, unfortunately, payment processing companies do not provide a reason when declining a transaction.

The options available are:

  1. Choose a different credit card (you should ask the issuer about their policy regarding recurring payments).
  2. Choose a different payment method. The most popular alternative to credit cards is PayPal, and you may set up recurring payments by creating a PayPal billing agreement.
  3. Log in every month in to your Customer Portal and pay your invoices manually.
