If you're logged into your HostGator Customer Portal and would like to seek assistance from our Support team, there are several ways to obtain help, such as searching our Knowledge Base, calling us, or starting a live chat.
We have support articles in our Knowledge Base to walk you through almost everything about hosting.
To open our Knowledge Base:
- In your Customer Portal, click the Support link on the top page.
- Once the Knowledge Base page pulls up, type a keyword or the topic related to your issue or use the Categories icons to filter the topics.
To start a chat while on the Knowledge Base page:
- If you're currently on the Knowledge Base page and want to chat with HostGator's Support, wait a few seconds for the Chat icon to appear in the bottom right corner.
- In the chat box, you can type in your issue or select the pre-configured topic closest to your issue.
- You will then be placed in a queue to speak to live support as quickly as possible.

If you're in your HostGator Customer Portal and you prefer chatting with us right away, click the Chat icon located in the bottom right corner.
Within your Customer Portal, you will find HostGator's phone number on the top page.
