Customer Portal - Contact Support

The Contact Support page is where you can directly contact support for your services. You can start a chat for answers to any of your Support, Billing, Migrations, Security, Windows Support, or even Pre-Sales questions.

To Contact Support

  1. Log into your Customer Portal at https://portal.hostgator.com.
    • If you cannot remember your password, click on the Forgot Password link below the login area, then follow the instructions emailed to the primary email address on file.
  2. Select Support from the left-hand side menu.

  3. There are several different ways of obtaining help from HostGator via the Support page, such as searching our Knowledge Base, calling us, or starting a live chat. To start a live chat with HostGator, please see the instructions below:

Starting a Live Chat
  1. Click Start Live Chat.

  2. Provide your name, HostGator's Customer Portal login details, and the type of hosting package the issue is with, then click Login.

  3. Enter the department you believe the issue is related to, the issue category, and a specific issue subcategory, then click Start Chat.

You will then be placed in a queue to speak to live support as quickly as possible. Alternatively, you may directly contact us via phone or Live Chat.
