How to Change the Password of an Email Account

You can update your email account password directly from cPanel. If the email account owner has forgotten or lost their password, you can still reset it through cPanel without needing the current password.

Change an Email Password

1. Log in to your Customer Portal.
2. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Email & Office.
3. Select cPanel Email from the available options.

   
    

4. Click the cPanel Email dropdown menu and select Email Accounts.

   
    

This will take you to the Email Accounts page, where you can manage your email accounts.

5. In the Email Accounts section of cPanel, locate the email account you want to update and click Manage.

   
    

6. On the Manage an Email Account page, scroll to the Security section. Then either:
   • Enter a new password of your choice, or
   • Click Generate to create a secure password automatically.

     
      

7. Click Update Email Settings at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
