Windows Server 2003 End of Life (EOL) Upgrade
Due to the age of this server operating system, we are no longer able to offer new servers with this operating system. This operating system has reached its end of life cycle phase from Microsoft. Microsoft is no longer releasing new security updates or bug patches for this operating system. Because of this, there is little that we can do to ensure the security of these systems. There are currently several known and unpatched exploits of Server 2003 in the wild and all Server 2003 boxes currently still in operation are becoming a target for malicious activity due to these numerous vulnerabilities.
New Servers come with Windows Server 2016
Our new servers come with Server 2016 as well as the most current revision of the Express Edition of SQL Server 2014. This is backwards compatible with most applications, but cannot provide support for Front Page Extensions, ASP.NET 1.0, or Certain ASP Components which require IIS6.
Upgrade from Windows Server 2003
If you already have a server with the Windows Server 2003 operating system, we recommend purchasing a new server with Windows Server 2012 and transferring your content to the new server. The benefit of getting a new server is that you not only get a more recent and secure operating system, but you also would get newer and more powerful hardware for the same or similar price that you are paying now.
