How to Install Drupal through QuickInstall

QuickInstall is no longer available in the current cPanel version. We recommend using Softaculous as your application installer. Please see the article: How to Install Drupal With Softaculous.

The following tutorials will assist you with installing Drupal using QuickInstall. Use the following links to navigate to your hosting plan type.


How to Install Drupal Using QuickInstall on a Shared Server

  1. Log in to your cPanel.
  2. In the Software section, click on the QuickInstall icon.

  3. On this page, you will then click the One-Click Installs tab on top.

  4. Next, click on the Drupal tab.

  5. Click on the Install Drupal 7 button.
  6. Complete the form that appears with the following details:

    • Select the Domain name on the dropdown menu. 
    • Define the File Path where Drupal will be installed
    • Admin Email: Enter an email address where you want the admin password emailed. Make sure this is a working email address.
    • Admin Username: Enter your preferred username.
    • Site Title: Enter the name of the website. This is what will appear in the header as the name of your site.
    • Timezone: Choose your preferred time zone from the dropdown.
  7. Click on Install Drupal 7 button.
  8. A progress bar will inform you about the status of your installation. When complete, click Details for your admin username and password:

Once the installation is complete and you have your credentials, you can begin working on your Drupal site! Check your email for the Drupal username and password and the link to your Drupal login page.


How to Install Drupal Using QuickInstall on a Reseller, VPS, or Dedicated Server

  1. Log in to your WHM.
    Please check this article: How Do I Log into the Web Host Manager (WHM)?
  2. Click on the List Accounts or search it using the search function on the left-hand side.

  3. Locate the cPanel account where you install Drupal, then click the cPanel logo next to the cPanel username.

  4. In the Software section, click on the QuickInstall icon.

  5. On this page, you will then click the One-Click Installs tab on top.

  6. Click on the Drupal tab.

  7. Click on the Install Drupal 7 button.
  8. Complete the form that appears with the following details:
