How to Change Password and Update Contact Info in Plesk

There are several ways to manage your Plesk contact information and password settings. Use the steps below to change your Plesk admin password, update your customer profile, or modify FTP/SSH login credentials.

Change Your Plesk Administrator Password

To change your Plesk admin password:

  1. Log in to the Plesk admin panel.
  2. Click Change Password in the navigation pane.
  3. Enter your old and new passwords.
  4. Confirm it and click OK.

Update Your Contact Information in Plesk

To update the contact info associated with your Plesk profile:

  1. Log in to the Plesk admin panel.
  2. Click the Profile & Preferences in the navigation pane.
  3. Update your information as required, and click OK.

Change Your Password for the Customer Panel

To change the password you use to access the Plesk Customer Panel:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner and select Edit Profile.

  3. In the profile section under General Information, type a new password.
  4. Confirm it and click OK.

Change FTP or SSH Username and Password in Plesk

To modify the username or password used for FTP or SSH access:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Go to Websites & Domains.
  3. Click Web Hosting Access.

  4. Type the new username and old password, and click OK.
