And Pinterest is definitely home to a lot of active users. But how do you stand out in the crowd of pins? The answer is actually pretty easy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Rich Pins<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019ve been following the HostGator blog and have implemented some of the\u00a0suggested <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hostgator.com\/blog\/2013\/08\/29\/7-steps-to-proper-new-website-seo\/\" target=\"_blank\">seo strategies<\/a>, then you&#8217;ve likely already optimized content such as meta data and share buttons. If you\u2019re using WordPress or another CMS, you may be able to find a plugin to add these if you haven\u2019t already. Whether on the home page or within a board, there is a sea of pins. With Rich Pins, you will pop out in the crowd. This is your meta description data! For most blogs\/product pages, this is the first few sentences of your content. But for those who know how to optimize their meta description, this can be your sales pitch! If used properly, you should start driving targeted leads to your page straight from Pinterest.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Get Rich Pins?<\/h3>\n<p>First you need to make sure your page is optimized for this. After you\u2019re optimized, you can validate the pin using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/developers.pinterest.com\/rich_pins\/validator\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rich Pin Validator<\/a>.
