This means making your profile shine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Cute profile pic, don\u2019t delete later<\/strong>. Choose a picture that encompasses your brand. Maybe it\u2019s your logo, or perhaps it\u2019s a fancy photo of your star product.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Flesh out your bio description.<\/strong> Use your bio description to tell visitors exactly who you are and what you do.<\/li><li><strong>Include a CTA in your bio.<\/strong> Do you want people to visit your site? Tell them.<\/li><li><strong>Add a link to your profile. <\/strong>Add a link to your business IG profile. Seriously, go add a link right now. Have you done it yet?&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your IG profile is your money maker. Give it the time and attention it deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-go-above-and-beyond-with-the-link-in-your-bio\">2. Go above and beyond with the link in your bio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since links are the primary way people will get to your website from Instagram, it\u2019s worth diving a little bit deeper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some additional things to consider when choosing a link:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Go beyond the home page. <\/strong>Your link doesn\u2019t have to go to your home page. In fact, maybe it <em>shouldn\u2019t<\/em> direct users to your home page. Send them to a blog post, a product page, a landing page, or any other place on your site where people can take action.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Link to a mobile-friendly page.<\/strong> Even your great-grandpa doesn\u2019t use Instagram on a desktop. Everyone browses IG from their phone. This means you have to consider the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hostgator.com\/blog\/how-make-website-mobile-friendly\/\">mobile-friendliness<\/a> of the page where you send people. Ensure the page loads quickly and is easy to navigate on the phone.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Try a service like Linktr.ee, tap.bio, or Later.<\/strong> These services offer a link that people can click on, view all your IG posts, and click on the interesting one. The link then leads people right to the relevant page on your site. It\u2019s like getting hundreds of links for the price of one. It\u2019s so easy to get to the Just Jared story I want to read via Instagram.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the strategy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Create an awesome IG post and use the caption to invite people to click on the pic in the link bio for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/t0-D2Jishh314UmyLmoVf2h3eU5nPZq2TH64I51W3l3RdusvSL70KiNpFFnkWLQR5tY_Ucab3nRnXXqnAEs67uuSM8FNLDS165BMYEkDbOkfkx_8dAvAb7EYF6YzgJTVdZziVRDa\" alt=\"add instagram caption directing people to link in bio\" width=\"563\" height=\"656\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Be smart about your Instagram Stories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Instagram Stories launched in 2016, and it\u2019s been one of the best ways for marketers to engage with audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People love Instagram Stories.
