One study found that videos get <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/AdelieStudios\/adelie-studios-top16videomarketingstatistics2016-56658453\/2-Adlie_Studios_Copyright_2016_All\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1,200% more shares<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on social media than images and text do and 70% of marketers say video converts at a higher rate than any other type of content. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Video is clearly powerful, but now there\u2019s a new option gaining steam that could amplify how far your video efforts can go: social live video. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The stats for video content were already compelling, but the stats for live video are even more impressive: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People spend <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.socialmediatoday.com\/marketing\/top-5-facebook-video-statistics-2016-infographic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">three times longer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> watching live video than video that isn\u2019t live. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/livestream.com\/blog\/62-must-know-stats-live-video-streaming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">80% of customers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> say they\u2019d rather watch a live video than read a blog. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">82% say they\u2019d rather watch a live video than see social posts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">78% are already watching videos on Facebook Live. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facebook isn\u2019t the first company to dip their toes into the waters of live video. Services like Periscope and Meerkat helped popularize the idea, but with the introduction of Facebook Live last year they quickly became the most important player in the social live video space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your customers are on Facebook (and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emarketer.com\/Article\/This-Year-More-Than-Half-of-Americans-Will-Use-Facebook\/1013560\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">most people are these days<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), then Facebook Live could be a powerful way to connect with them and personalize your brand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to Use Facebook Live<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using Facebook Live is intuitive. Facebook will give you the option to save your video to your mobile device or desktop so that you can share it on other social media websites, on your website, or out to your email list.
